WILDLIFE CONSERVATION

GREEN MERCY has been actively involved in wildlife conservation for the last two decades.

We took part in the Drive to Ban Wild Animals in the Circus, live animals in dissection, hunting of seals, whales and dolphins and in objecting cruelty to Animals in films and performing Street Shows with monkeys and bears.

Our efforts extended to counselling, confiscation of Wild Animals, booking FIRs, going to Court, speaking with authorities and writing awareness columns for the Print Media and Electronic Media.

In all 565 Wild Animals were rescued from the poachers and rehabilitated safely in the wild on Various Occasions.

We are trying to Conduct Surprise Raids on Wild Life Poachers at lease once in 3 months in association with A.P. Forest Department. One Barking deer, two Sloth Bears, one Hyena, one King Cobra, two pangolins, one Himalayan jungle squirrel, The Great Indian Eagle Owl, 3 Civet Cats and 30 Monitor Lizards were seized and rehabilitated in the wild.
